Who We Are

Mid-America Games for the Disabled, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose volunteer members are committed to providing competitive, modified athletic opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities and to promoting a positive image of ALL individuals with diverse needs and abilities.

We strive, through our annual Games, to provide opportunities for individuals to reach and expand their potential within their physical abilities.  We promote a spirit of healthy competition for athletes with a variety of physical disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, spinal chord injury, amputees and many other diagnoses.

Our organization and the Games are sanctioned by the National Disability Sports Alliance, Wheelchair Sports USA, and this year we are applying for sanctioning from Disabled Sports USA.  We also are affiliated with the United States Olympic Committee.  Even though we endeavor to create a fun and supportive atmosphere and offer social events tied to our Games, we are proud to have hosted many athletes who have competed at the National, International and Paralympic levels.
