Dear Athletes,

I cannot wait to meet you in person at the 2010 Mid-America Games! I started wheelchair racing when I was six years old, and now I race on the college team at the University of Illinois and on the Paralympic Track & Field Team. I graduated from college, went to more college and graduated again and am going to even more college and hope to graduate soon!

My motto in life is, "Dream. Drive. Do.". Sports have taught me to dream big and to set my own goals high for myself both on and off the track. I have also learned that it takes a lot of hard work, or drive, to achieve your dreams. There will likely be setbacks, but that's where we can all support each other to help make dreams a reality.

I love meeting other aspiring athletes with disabilities from around the country and around the world, like you! Just remember, "Dream. Drive. Do."

Let's have some fun together at the Mid-America Games,  I'll see you at the finish line!
